2. Apply Online

Most providers offer an online application process:
- Visit the provider’s website (e.g., Fintiba, Expatrio)
- Fill out the application form with your personal details
- Upload the required documents (passport, admission letter may be required at a later stage)

3. Receive Confirmation and Account Details

- Once your application is approved, you will receive the blocked account details (IBAN, BIC, etc.)
- You’ll also receive the required deposit amount for one year:
€11,904 for 2025/2026 (€992 per month)

4. Transfer Funds from India

- Use a bank transfer, Forex service, or remittance provider to transfer the required amount plus any account setup or handling fees.
- Keep the SWIFT receipt as proof of payment.

5. Receive Blocked Account Confirmation

- Once funds are credited, you’ll receive a blocked account confirmation certificate (Sperrkontobestätigung).
- This official document is needed for your German student visa application at the VFS or German Consulate.

6. Visa Application

- Submit the blocked account confirmation along with your other visa documents.

7. Accessing Funds in Germany
