How can students find reviews from current international students?

That’s a great question! Hearing directly from current international students is one of the most valuable ways to understand what life is really like at a particular university or in a specific country.

Here are some effective ways students can find and access authentic reviews and experiences:

1. University Websites & Social Media
- Most universities have dedicated international student sections on their websites featuring testimonials, blogs, and video interviews.
- Official university social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) often share student stories and campus life highlights.

2. Student Forums & Platforms
- The Student Room (UK-focused): A popular forum where you can read threads and ask questions to current students.
- Reddit: Subreddits like r/ukuni, r/StudyInTheUSA, r/CanadaStudy, and r/AustralianUniversities are active communities for student discussions.
- Quora: Many students share detailed answers about their experiences at specific universities.

3. University-Specific Facebook Groups
- Many universities have unofficial Facebook groups (e.g., “University of Manchester International Students 2025”) where current and prospective students interact and share experiences.

4. LinkedIn & Alumni Networks
- You can search for current students or recent alumni from your target universities and politely reach out for an informational chat.

5. YouTube & Student Vlogs
- Many international students document their journeys with campus tours, daily routines, and honest reviews on YouTube. Search for “[University Name] international student vlog.”
