How many hours can international students work per week in Switzerland?

In Switzerland, international students are allowed to work up to 15 hours per week during the academic semester. During semester breaks and holidays, students can work up to 100% (full-time).

Important Points:
- Students from non-EU/EFTA countries can start working only after they have lived in Switzerland for at least 6 months.
- Work must not negatively impact your studies.
- The employer must apply for a work permit for the student.
