How do I replace a lost New Zealand student visa eVisa?

If you have lost access to your New Zealand student visa eVisa (for example, you have lost the email or deleted the PDF), you can easily request a replacement. Here’s what you should do:

Steps to Replace a Lost New Zealand Student Visa eVisa

1. Log in to your Immigration New Zealand (INZ) account:
- Visit the Immigration New Zealand RealMe login page.
- Use the credentials (username and password) that you used to apply for your visa.

2. Download your eVisa:
- Once logged in, select ‘My Applications’ or ‘View Application History’.
- Find your approved student visa application.
- You should be able to download your eVisa PDF again from the portal.

3. If you do not have access to your online account:
- If you applied through an agent or do not remember your login credentials, you can request a copy of your eVisa by emailing Immigration New Zealand.
- Email: info@immigration.govt.nz
- Include these details in your email:
- Full name (as per passport)
- Date of birth
- Passport number
- Visa application/reference number (if available)
- Brief explanation that you have lost your eVisa and request for a replacement copy

4. For urgent travel:
- If you need to travel soon, mention the urgency in your email to INZ.
- You can also call the New Zealand Immigration Contact Centre: +64 9 914 4100 (charges may apply for international calls).

5. Checking your visa status:
- You can also verify your visa status using the Visa Verification Service with your details.

Tip: Always save a backup copy of your eVisa on your phone, email, and cloud storage for easy access.
