How can students track their visa application progress?

Great question! Tracking your visa application progress is an important step after submitting your documents. The process and tools vary depending on the destination country. Here’s how it typically works for popular study-abroad destinations:

United Kingdom (UK):
- After submitting your visa application, you’ll receive a reference number (GWF number).
- You can track your application status online via the UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) portal.
- You may also receive email or SMS updates if you opted for those services during your application.

Australia:
- For Australian student visas, you can track your application through your ImmiAccount on the Australian Department of Home Affairs website.
- Updates will also be sent to your registered email.

Canada:
- Track your application status using your IRCC account on the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website.
- You’ll need your application number and login credentials.

USA:
- After submitting your DS-160 form and visa fee, you can track your application through the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC) using your case number.
- Updates may also be provided via email.

New Zealand:
- Use your RealMe account or the Immigration New Zealand website to check the status of your application.
- Updates will also be sent to your registered email.

Germany:
- If you applied through VFS or the German consulate, use the tracking link provided in your acknowledgment email, or check with the consulate directly.

General Tips:
- Always keep your application reference number handy.
- Check your email (including spam/junk folders) regularly for updates.
- If you applied through Pollster Education, we’ll also help you track and update you on your application’s status.
