For Australia, as per the latest 2025 government guidelines, student visa applicants must show evidence of sufficient funds to cover their living expenses and tuition fees for the duration of their stay.

Living Expenses (2025 Update):
- The minimum amount you need to show for living expenses is AUD 29,710 per year (for a single student).
- If you are bringing dependents (spouse, children), you will need to show additional funds for each dependent.

Tuition Fees:
- You must show funds to cover your first year’s tuition fees (the actual amount depends on your course and university).

Additional Expenses:
- Return airfare to and from Australia (usually, proof of funds to cover this is also required).
