For Ireland, student visa applicants must show evidence of sufficient funds to cover living expenses during their stay. As per the latest guidelines:

1. Minimum Funds Required:
- EUR 10,000 per year is the minimum amount of living expenses a student needs to show for one academic year (in addition to tuition fees).

2. First-year Tuition Fees:
- You must also demonstrate that you have paid your first-year tuition fees or have sufficient funds to cover them.

3. Evidence Accepted:
- Recent bank statements (usually covering the last 6 months)
- Education loan sanction letter
- Scholarship letters (if applicable)
- Sponsorship letter (if funds are from a parent/guardian)

4. For Visa Renewal:
- You must show a minimum of EUR 10,000 for each subsequent year of study.

5. Additional Requirements:
- If your course is less than 6 months, you must show access to EUR 700 per month of your stay, up to a maximum of EUR 4,200.

Note: Ireland’s immigration authorities may occasionally update financial requirements. It’s important to check the latest before applying.
