What happens after Dubai visa approval?

Once your Dubai (UAE) student visa is approved, several important steps follow before you can begin your studies. Here’s what happens next:

1. Receive Your Entry Permit

You will receive an entry permit (sometimes called an e-visa) that allows you to travel to Dubai. This is usually sent electronically and must be printed for immigration checks.

2. Travel to Dubai

Book your flight and travel to Dubai within the validity period of your entry permit (usually 60 days).

3. Medical Examination

Upon arrival, you are required to undergo a medical fitness test at an authorized medical center in Dubai. This typically includes a blood test and chest X-ray.

4. Emirates ID Application

You must apply for an Emirates ID card at the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICP) office. Biometric data (fingerprints and a photo) will be collected.

5. Visa Stamping

After you pass your medical exam, your passport will be submitted for visa stamping. This converts your entry permit into a full residency visa, allowing you to stay in Dubai for the duration of your studies.

6. Register with Your University

Complete your registration/enrollment process at your university or college. This may include submitting original documents and paying any pending fees.

7. Accommodation & Settling In

Arrange for your accommodation (if not already done) and begin settling into student life in Dubai. Attend orientation sessions if offered by your institution.

Additional Tips:
- Keep all your documents (offer letter, visa, passport, entry permit, medical test receipt) handy during this process.
- Make sure to comply with all deadlines and instructions from your university and Dubai authorities.
