Congratulations on your UK visa approval! Here’s what happens next and what you should prepare for:

1. Collect Your Visa & Documents

- BRP Collection: You will receive a 90-day entry vignette (sticker) in your passport, which allows you to enter the UK. You must collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) within 10 days of your arrival in the UK, or before your vignette expires (whichever is later), from the location you selected during your visa application (often a local post office or your university).
- Check Documents: Ensure you have your passport, visa vignette, university offer letter/CAS, accommodation details, proof of finances, and academic certificates ready for travel.

2. Travel Arrangements

- Book your flight tickets according to your course start date and the validity of your vignette.
- Arrange for airport pickup and temporary accommodation if needed.

3. Prepare for Arrival in the UK

- Familiarize yourself with UK customs and immigration procedures. At border control, you may be asked for your CAS, proof of funds, accommodation, and university details.
- Carry all essential documents in your hand luggage.

4. Arriving in the UK

- Present your passport, visa vignette, and supporting documents at immigration.
- Collect your BRP from the designated location within the stipulated time.

5. University Registration

- Attend your university’s orientation and registration events.
- Complete any remaining formalities, such as submitting your BRP, passport, and academic documents.

6. Settle In

- Open a UK bank account (your BRP will be required).
- Register with a local GP (doctor).
- Arrange a UK SIM card and settle into your accommodation.

7. Stay Compliant

- Abide by the conditions of your visa (work restrictions, attendance, address updates).
- Keep copies of important documents safe.
