Can I stay in Dubai after graduation?

Great question! Dubai (and the wider United Arab Emirates) has become a popular study destination, and many international students want to know about post-study opportunities.

Post-Study Stay Options in Dubai/UAE:

1. Post Study Work Visa (Job Seeker Visa):
- The UAE offers a Job Seeker Visa which allows recent graduates to stay in the country and look for employment.
- Generally, this visa is valid for 6 months and can be applied for by graduates from UAE universities.
- You must apply soon after graduation and may need to show your degree and other documents.

2. Employment Visa:
- If you secure a job after graduation, your employer can sponsor you for an Employment Residence Visa. This allows you to live and work in the UAE as long as you’re employed.

3. Golden Visa (For Exceptional Students):
- Outstanding graduates (with high academic performance) may be eligible for the UAE Golden Visa, which allows for long-term residence (up to 10 years).

Important Notes:
- Dubai does NOT currently offer a "Post Study Work Visa" similar to the UK or Australia, where you automatically get time to work after your studies. You must apply for a job seeker or employment visa.
- Requirements and policies can change, so it’s always best to check with your university’s student services or the UAE immigration website for the latest updates.
