Graduate Record Examination is the required qualifying test, on the score of which most of the US Institutions generally take a decision for admission for all the graduate programs i.e all MS/MA programs (viz. Engineering/ Science/ Arts/ Architecture as well as Ph.D.) Countries accepting the Above test: USA, Canada & Germany.
IELTS scores are acceptable by all UK, Australia, New Zealand & Canadian Institutions. Some of the institutions in USA, Singapore also accept IELTS as a English proficiency assessment. It is an internationally-recognised system for testing English language skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Exam Pattern:
2. Quantitative Section- 28 questions, Time Allotted - 45 min.
3. Analytical Writing Assessment- 2 Essays, Time Allotted - 45 & 30 min. Total Time : 3hrs, 45Mins.
Additional Information:
Acceptable Scores : Candidates are generally required to score a minimum of 1200 out of 1600. Occasionally some of the institutions may accept a low score also.
