Core modules include Experiential Practices, Research Methods for Digital Design Futures, Design for Immersion and Engagement, Design Speculation, and a Specialist Project. These modules focus on developing advanced techniques, critical analysis, and practical application, culminating in a comprehensive understanding of digital design principles and practices.

Research Focus: The MA Digital Design Futures program emphasizes research-led teaching, encouraging students to explore innovative design strategies and methodologies. Through the Research Methods for Digital Design Futures module, students learn to examine and compare strategies for designing immersive experiences, preparing them to contribute to advancements in the field. 

Industry Engagement: Students benefit from hands-on experience by working directly with the latest software and hardware in the state-of-the-art XLAB studio. Through a series of creative projects that adhere to industry standards, students apply their skills in practical settings. Additionally, training workshops and support are provided to strengthen students' expertise in XR developments, ensuring they are well-prepared for careers in the digital design industry. ​

Postgraduate Entry Requirements:

  • Academic Qualifications: International students applying for postgraduate programs at the University of Leeds are generally required to have a minimum academic achievement of 55% or above in their previous studies. This requirement may vary depending on the course and country of origin.
