Program Overview
This MSc program is tailored for graduates in archaeology or related scientific disciplines, aiming to advance their careers in archaeological science. Curriculum: The curriculum offers two pathways: Artefact, and Landscape and Environment. Both pathways are suitable for graduates in archaeology or a science subject and want to start or further their career in these exciting fields.
Research Focus: Students engage in original research projects, supported by experts in archaeology, to develop into independent researchers. The program provides intensive preparation for doctoral research, guiding students through the research process and equipping them with transferable skills.
Industry Engagement: The program prepares students for roles as post-excavation or artefact specialists in the museum or commercial sectors, providing skills attractive to employers in these fields.
Global Perspective: Fieldwork is an important part of research in archaeology, with projects based internationally in countries such as Egypt, Greece, Bulgaria, Jordan, Turkey, Italy, Zambia, Kenya, Ethiopia, and South Africa, as well as in the British Isles.

Postgraduate Entry Requirements:
- Applicants should have successfully completed a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum overall score of 60% or equivalent.
