This interdisciplinary program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of global public policy challenges. It emphasizes the development of skills in policy analysis, design, and implementation, preparing graduates to engage effectively with complex issues in the global policy landscape.

Curriculum: The program offers a flexible curriculum that includes six core modules covering topics such as public policy foundations, policy analysis and evaluation, and global governance. Students also complete a 12,000-word dissertation, allowing for in-depth exploration of specific policy issues. The integrated placement pathway extends the program to 21 months, providing practical experience in relevant organizations.

Research Focus: Students engage critically with cutting-edge research on local and international policymaking, supported by the university's vibrant research culture. The program encourages exploration of contemporary global policy issues, fostering analytical and research skills essential for addressing complex policy challenges.

Industry Engagement: The integrated placement offers students real-world experience by working in government bodies, NGOs, or international organizations. This practical exposure enhances employability and provides valuable insights into the functioning of public policy institutions.

Postgraduate Entry Requirements:

  • Applicants should have successfully completed a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum overall score of 50%-60% or equivalent.
  • English language proficiency is required, and applicants must provide evidence of their English language skills through an approved language test.
    • IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.5 with no individual component below 6.
    • TOEFL: A minimum overall score of 88, with at least 20 in Listening, 21 in Reading, 22 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing.
    • PTE Academic: A minimum overall score of 67 with no individual score below 64.
  • Some postgraduate programs may have specific subject prerequisites or additional requirements.
