Program Overview

The MSc in Advanced Aerospace Engineering focuses on equipping students with advanced skills in computational modeling, numerical techniques, and a comprehensive understanding of engineering approaches to contemporary aerospace challenges. Curriculum: The program comprises six elective modules and a significant research project. Elective modules cover topics such as Computational Engineering, Engineering Design Optimization and Decision Making, Introduction to Systems Engineering, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for Engineering, Modern Robotics: Fundamentals and Applications, Advanced Flight Control and Simulation of Aerospace Vehicles, Aeroelasticity, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Advanced Aerodynamics of High-Speed Flows, Digital Signal Acquisition and Processing, and Spacecraft Systems Engineering. This flexible structure allows students to customize their learning experience according to their specific interests.

Research Focus: A cornerstone of the MSc is the extended research project, which spans all three semesters. Students undertake independent research under the supervision of academic experts, addressing significant aerospace engineering challenges. Recent projects have explored areas such as jet noise reduction, nasal aerodynamics, and the development of numerical algorithms for fluid and acoustic applications.

Postgraduate Entry Requirements:

  • Applicants should have successfully completed a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum overall score of 60% or equivalent.
  • English language proficiency is required, and applicants must provide evidence of their English language skills through an approved language test.
    • IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.5 with no individual component below 6.0.
    • TOEFL: A minimum overall score of 92, with at least with at least 17 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 20 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing.
    • PTE Academic: A minimum overall score of 71 with 65 in Writing, and 59 in Reading, Listening and Speaking..
  • Some postgraduate programs may have specific subject prerequisites or additional requirements.
