The BSc (Hons) in Global Development and Sustainability integrates perspectives from geography, sociology, international relations, politics, education, and business. Students explore the intersections of race, class, gender, and environmental policy, analyzing how systemic inequalities and colonial legacies contribute to socio-environmental disparities and injustice. The curriculum emphasizes practical skills, including community engagement, policy analysis, and advocacy strategies, preparing students for real-world challenges.

Additionally, students can undertake an optional semester abroad at partner universities in countries including Portugal, Denmark, Ireland, Australia, Canada, and the United States, further enhancing their global perspective. 

Global Perspective: Bath Spa University promotes a global outlook by offering opportunities for international study and research. The Certificate in Global Citizenship is available to full-time undergraduate students, allowing them to gain global awareness and add an international dimension to their student experience.
