Program Overview

This three-year undergraduate program integrates psychology, physiology, and biochemistry to explore the interconnections between physical activity, nutrition, and health. Students gain a comprehensive understanding of how these elements contribute to disease prevention and health promotion. The curriculum emphasizes practical application, allowing students to work with diverse populations, including amateur and elite athletes, as well as community members.

Curriculum: The curriculum is structured to provide a holistic understanding of health and exercise promotion. Core modules cover human responses to exercise, performance enhancement, health-related aspects of physical activity, and the socio-cultural impact of sport. Students also have the opportunity to achieve additional qualifications, such as Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer certifications, enhancing their employability. ​

Research Focus: Faculty members are actively engaged in research across various themes, including physical activity monitoring in preschool children, nutrition, performance profiling, and human balance control.
