English Language Proficiency:

• IELTS: Overall band score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component.

Graduates of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Film and Television from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Atlanta are well-prepared to pursue a diverse range of careers within the film and television industry. The program's comprehensive curriculum equips students with the skills necessary to excel in various roles, whether on-set, behind the scenes, or in post-production. 

Film Director: Responsible for overseeing the creative aspects of film production, including directing actors, guiding the visual style, and shaping the narrative. Film directors work closely with writers, producers, and the production team to bring a script to life.

Television Producer: Manages the production process for television shows, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating between different departments. Producers ensure that a project stays on track and meets its creative and financial goals.

Screenwriter: Develops scripts for films and television shows, creating dialogue, characters, and plotlines. Screenwriters work with producers and directors to revise and refine scripts to fit the project's vision.

Cinematographer/Director of Photography: Responsible for capturing the visual elements of a film or television production. Cinematographers work on camera angles, lighting, and shot composition to enhance the storytelling and visual appeal.

Editor: Handles the post-production process by cutting and assembling footage to create the final version of a film or television episode. Editors work with directors to ensure the pacing, flow, and overall narrative are effectively conveyed.

Production Designer: Designs and oversees the visual look of a film or television production, including sets, props, and costumes. Production designers work to create environments that support the story and enhance the audience's experience.

Sound Designer: Manages the auditory elements of a film or television production, including sound effects, dialogue, and music. Sound designers work to create an immersive audio experience that complements the visual elements.

Assistant Director: Assists the director in managing the production schedule, coordinating between departments, and ensuring that all elements of the production are in place. Assistant directors play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of the production process.

Visual Effects Artist: Creates and integrates visual effects into film and television projects. This role involves working with CGI, compositing, and other techniques to enhance or alter the visual aspects of the project.

Script Supervisor: Keeps track of continuity and ensures that all scenes align with the script. Script supervisors work closely with directors and editors to maintain consistency throughout the production.

Production Assistant: Provides support to various departments on set, handling tasks such as managing equipment, assisting with scene setups, and coordinating logistics. Production assistants gain valuable experience and networking opportunities on set.
