Undergraduate Entry Requirements

Academic Qualifications: Applicants for undergraduate programs typically require a minimum academic achievement of 65% or above in their previous academic qualifications.

English Language Proficiency:

• IELTS: Overall band score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
• TOEFL: Overall score of 61 or higher.
• PTE: Overall score of 46 or higher.
• DET (Duolingo English Test): Overall score of 105.

Standardized Test Requirements:

• SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test): Overall score of 480 is required.
• ACT (American College Testing): Overall score of 19 is required.

Graduates of Troy University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program are well-prepared to enter a diverse range of healthcare settings and roles. Registered Nurse (RN): BSN graduates are eligible to become Registered Nurses, providing direct patient care in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. Public Health Nurse: BSN graduates can work as Public Health Nurses, focusing on community health and preventive care. They work with populations to promote health, prevent disease, and address public health issues through education, outreach, and program development.

Case Manager: Case Managers coordinate care for patients with complex medical needs. They assess patient requirements, develop care plans, and liaise with healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive appropriate services and resources.

Health Educator: Health Educators work in community settings, providing information and resources to improve public health. They develop and implement educational programs on topics such as nutrition, disease prevention, and wellness.

Emergency Room Nurse: Working in emergency departments, Emergency Room Nurses handle acute and urgent medical situations. They assess and stabilize patients, provide immediate care, and work under high-pressure conditions to manage emergencies effectively.

Occupational Health Nurse: Occupational Health Nurses work in industrial and corporate settings to promote employee health and safety. They conduct health screenings, manage workplace injuries, and develop wellness programs tailored to the needs of the workforce.
