Program Overview

The program offers a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical laboratory skills, and research experience. Students engage in hands-on laboratory work, using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to analyze biological samples, conduct experiments, and interpret data.   1. Molecular Biology: Students learn about the structure and function of DNA, RNA, and proteins, as well as techniques for gene expression analysis, DNA sequencing, and genetic engineering.

  2. Immunology: The program covers the immune system and its response to pathogens and diseases. Students study immunological techniques, vaccination strategies, and autoimmune disorders.

  3. Cellular Pathology: Students explore the microscopic examination of tissues and cells to diagnose diseases. They learn about histopathology, cytopathology, and the use of imaging techniques for diagnostic purposes.

  4. Medical Microbiology: The program focuses on the study of microorganisms that cause infectious diseases. Students learn about the identification, characterization, and treatment of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.

Postgraduate Entry Requirements:

  • Applicants should have successfully completed a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum overall score of 55% or equivalent.

    • IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.5 with no individual component below 6.0.
