Undergraduate Entry Requirements

Academic Qualifications: Applicants for undergraduate programs typically require a minimum academic achievement of 65% or above in their previous academic qualifications.

English Language Proficiency:

• IELTS: Overall band score of 6.0 or 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component.
• TOEFL: Overall score of 79 with a minimum of 21 in each section.
• PTE (Pearson Test of English): Overall score of 58 with a minimum of 50 in each section.

Students must provide:

• academic marksheets & transcripts
• letters of recommendation
• a personal statement - SOP
• passport
• other supporting documents as required by the university.

Photojournalist: Photojournalists capture compelling images that tell stories for newspapers, magazines, online publications, and news agencies. They cover news events, human interest stories, and documentary projects, often working under tight deadlines to deliver impactful visual narratives.

Fine Art Photographer: Fine art photographers create images that express personal vision and artistic concepts. They exhibit their work in galleries, museums, and art fairs, and may sell limited edition prints to collectors. Fine art photographers often explore themes such as culture, identity, nature, and social issues through their photography.

Wedding and Events Photographer: Wedding and events photographers specialize in capturing special moments at weddings, parties, corporate events, and celebrations. They use their technical skills and creativity to document events, create portraits, and deliver high-quality images that clients cherish.

Fashion Photographer: Fashion photographers collaborate with designers, stylists, and models to create visual narratives for fashion editorials, advertising campaigns, and lookbooks. They work in studios or on location, using lighting, composition, and creative direction to showcase fashion garments and accessories.

Portrait Photographer: Portrait photographers specialize in capturing individuals, families, and groups in various settings. They work in studios or outdoor locations, using posing techniques, lighting setups, and interpersonal skills to create flattering and memorable portraits.

Travel Photographer: Travel photographers capture images that showcase destinations, cultures, landscapes, and experiences from around the world. They may work independently, selling images to travel publications, websites, and tourism boards, or collaborate with travel agencies and brands to create visual content.

Digital Image Retoucher/Editor: Digital image retouchers and editors enhance and manipulate photographs using editing software to achieve desired effects, correct imperfections, and optimize image quality. They may work in-house for photography studios, agencies, or as freelancers.

Freelance Photographer: Some graduates choose to work independently as freelance photographers, offering services such as wedding photography, event coverage, portrait sessions, or commercial assignments. Freelance photographers have the flexibility to choose their projects and clients while managing their own schedules and business operations.

Photography Educator/Instructor: Graduates with a passion for teaching and sharing their knowledge may pursue careers as photography educators or instructors. They teach photography techniques, critique student work, and mentor aspiring photographers at educational institutions, workshops, or online platforms.
