Undergraduate Entry Requirements

Application Fee: AUD $150

Academic Qualifications: Applicants for undergraduate programs typically require a minimum academic achievement of 75% or above in their previous academic qualifications.

English Language Proficiency:

• IELTS: Overall band score of 6.5 or 7.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component.
• TOEFL: Overall score of 94 with a minimum of 23 in each section.
• PTE (Pearson Test of English): Overall score of 64 with a minimum of 54 in each section.

Students must provide:

• academic marksheets & transcripts
• letters of recommendation
• a personal statement - SOP
• passport
• other supporting documents as required by the university.

Airline Pilot: Airline pilots fly passengers or cargo for airlines, ensuring safe and efficient flights. They operate commercial aircraft, adhere to flight plans, manage crew and passenger safety, and navigate through various weather conditions. Airline pilots may specialize in specific types of aircraft or routes, such as long-haul international flights or regional operations.

Charter Pilot: Charter pilots fly aircraft for private charter companies, transporting clients to destinations based on their individual travel needs. They provide personalized services, adhere to client schedules, and may operate a variety of aircraft types depending on the charter company’s fleet and client requirements.

Flight Instructor: Flight instructors teach aspiring pilots how to fly aircraft, providing ground instruction and practical flight training. They develop lesson plans, conduct flight simulations, and evaluate student progress. Flight instructors may work at flight schools, colleges, or for aviation training organizations, preparing students for private pilot licenses, commercial licenses, or advanced ratings.

Corporate Pilot: Corporate pilots fly private aircraft owned by corporations or high-net-worth individuals. They transport executives, business teams, or cargo to domestic and international destinations, ensuring confidentiality, comfort, and safety. Corporate pilots may also manage flight operations, schedule maintenance, and coordinate aircraft logistics for corporate travel.

Air Ambulance Pilot: Air ambulance pilots operate medical evacuation aircraft, transporting critically ill or injured patients to hospitals or medical facilities. They work closely with medical teams to ensure safe and timely patient transport, navigating through varying weather conditions and adhering to medical protocols. Air ambulance pilots may work for private air ambulance companies or government agencies.

Agricultural Pilot: Agricultural pilots, also known as crop dusters, fly aircraft to apply pesticides, fertilizers, or seeds to agricultural fields. They conduct aerial spraying operations to enhance crop yields, control pests, and support agricultural production. Agricultural pilots work for agricultural aviation companies, cooperatives, or directly for farms and agricultural enterprises.

Government Aviation Specialist: Government aviation specialists work for regulatory agencies, air traffic control organizations, or government departments overseeing aviation safety, airspace management, and aviation policy development. They enforce aviation regulations, conduct safety inspections, and contribute to national and international aviation standards and protocols.

Aviation Safety Inspector: Aviation safety inspectors work for civil aviation authorities or regulatory agencies to inspect aircraft, facilities, and operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. They investigate accidents, analyze safety data, and recommend improvements to enhance aviation safety practices and mitigate risks.

Airline Operations Manager: Airline operations managers oversee day-to-day airline operations, including flight scheduling, crew management, aircraft maintenance coordination, and passenger services. They optimize airline efficiency, manage operational budgets, and ensure compliance with airline policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Aviation Consultant: Aviation consultants provide expertise to airlines, airports, government agencies, or private firms on aviation operations, strategic planning, market analysis, and regulatory compliance. They conduct feasibility studies, develop business strategies, and advise clients on optimizing aviation resources and enhancing operational efficiency.
