Undergraduate Entry Requirements

Academic Qualifications: Applicants for undergraduate programs typically require a minimum academic achievement of 65% or above in their previous academic qualifications.

English Language Proficiency:

• IELTS: Overall band score of 6.0 or 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
• TOEFL: Overall score of 100 with a minimum of 23 in each section.
• PTE (Pearson Test of English): Overall score of 72 with a minimum of 64 in each section.

Students must provide:

• academic marksheets & transcripts
• letters of recommendation
• a personal statement - SOP
• passport
• other supporting documents as required by the university.

Social Worker: Social workers provide support and advocacy to individuals, families, and communities facing challenges such as poverty, abuse, mental health issues, and substance abuse. They assess clients' needs, develop intervention plans, connect clients with resources and services, and monitor progress towards achieving goals. Social workers work in healthcare settings, schools, social service agencies, government departments, and non-profit organizations.

Counselor/Therapist: Counselors and therapists help individuals and groups cope with emotional, mental health, and behavioral issues. They provide counseling, therapy sessions, and psychoeducation to clients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, addiction, and other challenges. Counselors work in private practice, hospitals, mental health clinics, schools, and community health centers.

Community Development Officer: Community development officers work with communities to identify needs, develop programs, and implement initiatives that promote social inclusion, empowerment, and sustainable development. They collaborate with local governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and community groups to address issues such as poverty, housing, education, and cultural diversity.

Policy Analyst/Advocate: Policy analysts and advocates work for government agencies, advocacy organizations, and non-profits, influencing social policies and programs that impact vulnerable populations. They research policy issues, analyze legislation, and advocate for policy changes that promote social justice, human rights, and equity. Policy analysts also monitor policy implementation and evaluate its impact on communities.

Human Services Manager/Administrator: Human services managers oversee the operations of social service agencies, community organizations, and non-profits. They manage budgets, supervise staff, coordinate service delivery, and ensure compliance with regulations and funding requirements. Human services managers play a key role in strategic planning, program development, and organizational leadership to improve service effectiveness and client outcomes.

Youth Worker/Family Support Worker: Youth workers and family support workers provide guidance, mentoring, and practical assistance to young people and families experiencing difficulties. They help clients navigate educational, social, and personal challenges, advocate for their rights, and coordinate access to services such as counseling, housing assistance, and vocational training. Youth workers and family support workers are employed by schools, youth centers, shelters, and family service agencies.
