Program Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Cloud Data Management program at Conestoga College is designed to prepare students for roles in managing and leveraging cloud-based data solutions in organizations. Program :

  1. Cloud Computing Technologies: Students gain an understanding of cloud computing technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). They learn about cloud architecture, deployment models, and security considerations.

  2. Data Management and Analytics: This course focuses on data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management. Students learn how to design and implement data storage, retrieval, and analysis systems using cloud-based platforms.

  3. Information Governance and Compliance: Students explore the principles of information governance and compliance in the context of cloud data management. They learn about privacy regulations, data protection laws, and ethical considerations for handling sensitive data in the cloud.

  1. Postgraduate Diploma Programs:

    • Academic Requirement: Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum of 55% overall average.
    • English Language Proficiency: International students must demonstrate proficiency in English by meeting the minimum requirements in one of the following tests:
      • IELTS: A minimum overall band score of 6.5, with no individual band score below 6.0.
      • TOEFL: A minimum overall score of 88 on the Internet-based test (iBT), with a minimum score of 21 in each section.
      • PTE: A minimum overall score of 58, with no communicative skills score below 50.

It's important to note that meeting the minimum entry requirements does not guarantee admission to Conestoga College, as program-specific requirements and competitive selection processes may apply.
