Curriculum:

 

  1. Automotive Industry Fundamentals: The program curriculum covers fundamental concepts and principles related to the automotive industry, including vehicle technology, manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and aftermarket services. Students gain insights into the automotive value chain, market dynamics, consumer behavior, and regulatory requirements shaping the industry landscape.

  2. Business Management and Leadership: Students develop strong business management and leadership skills through courses focused on finance, accounting, marketing, operations management, strategic planning, and organizational behavior. They learn to analyze financial statements, develop marketing plans, manage production processes, and make strategic decisions to drive business growth and profitability in the automotive sector.

  3. Automotive Retail and Dealership Operations: The program provides specialized training in automotive retail and dealership operations, covering topics such as dealership management, sales and marketing, customer service, inventory management, and dealership finance. Students learn about dealership profitability metrics, sales techniques, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and service department operations, preparing them for management roles within automotive dealerships.

Industry-Specific Skills Development: Students acquire industry-specific skills and knowledge through experiential learning opportunities, such as co-operative education placements, internships, and industry projects.   • Minimum Academic Requirement: International students applying for undergraduate programs at Georgian College must have completed their secondary education or equivalent with a minimum overall average of 65% or higher.
     
  • English Language Proficiency:  
    • IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.5, with no band score less than 6.
    • TOEFL: A minimum score of 89 on the internet-based test (iBT).
    • PTE Academic: A minimum score of 61.
    • DET Score: A minimum score of 120.

Unfortunately, Georgian College does not provide scholarships to international students. However, there are several external scholarships and bursaries that international students can apply for.
