  3. Applied Theatre Practices: Students explore the concept of applied theatre and its applications in community settings, social justice initiatives, and participatory arts projects. They examine case studies of applied theatre projects around the world and learn how to design, implement, and evaluate their own applied theatre interventions.

  4. Curriculum Design and Assessment: This module focuses on curriculum design and assessment in drama and theatre education. Students learn how to develop curriculum frameworks, design lesson plans, and assess learning outcomes effectively. They explore strategies for integrating drama and theatre into the wider curriculum and aligning drama activities with educational standards and objectives.

  5. Research Methods in Drama Education: Building on their theoretical and practical knowledge, students learn research methods relevant to drama and theatre education. They explore qualitative and quantitative research techniques, conduct literature reviews, and design research projects that contribute to the evidence base for drama pedagogy and practice.

  6. Teaching Practicum: As a culmination of their studies, students undertake a teaching practicum in a real educational setting, such as a school, community center, or arts organization.
