Undergraduate Entry Requirements

Academic Qualifications: Applicants should have successfully completed their secondary education with a minimum overall score of 60 to 65% or equivalent in their respective country's grading system.

English Language Proficiency:

• IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.0 with no individual component below 5.5.
• TOEFL: A minimum score of 80, with a minimum of 20 in each component.
• PTE: A minimum overall score of 59, with no individual score below 51.

Students must provide:

• academic marksheets & transcripts
• letters of recommendation
• a personal statement - SOP
• passport
• other supporting documents as required by the university.

It is important to note that meeting the minimum entry requirements does not guarantee admission, as the university considers factors such as availability of places and competition for the program. Additionally, some courses may have higher entry requirements or additional selection criteria, such as interviews or portfolio submissions.

1. Social Worker: Many graduates go on to pursue careers as social workers, working directly with individuals and families to assess their needs, provide support and intervention, and coordinate services. Social workers may specialize in areas such as child protection, adult social care, mental health, or substance abuse.

2. Community Support Worker: Graduates can work as community support workers, assisting vulnerable individuals and groups within community settings. They may provide practical support, advocacy, and guidance to promote independence and improve quality of life.

3. Care Coordinator: Graduates may work as care coordinators or case managers within social care agencies or healthcare organizations. They oversee the delivery of care plans, liaise with healthcare professionals and service providers, and ensure that individuals receive appropriate support and services.

4. Youth Worker: Some graduates pursue roles as youth workers, supporting young people facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. They organize activities, workshops, and outreach programs aimed at empowering and engaging young people in positive activities.

8. Community Development Officer: Some graduates choose to work in community development, collaborating with local organizations and residents to address social issues, improve community resources, and promote social inclusion.

9. Substance Misuse Worker: Graduates can specialize in supporting individuals affected by substance abuse or addiction, providing counseling, harm reduction services, and rehabilitation support.

10. Further Study and Research: Graduates may pursue further studies at the postgraduate level, such as Master's degrees in social work, public health, or counseling psychology, to specialize in specific areas or advance their careers.
