Undergraduate Entry Requirements

Academic Qualifications: Applicants should have successfully completed their secondary education with a minimum overall score of 65% or equivalent in their respective country's grading system.

English language proficiency: 

• IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.0  or 6.5 with no individual component below 5.5.
• TOEFL: A minimum overall score of 87, with at least 21 in Listening, 22 in Reading, 24 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing.
• PTE Academic: A minimum overall score of 66 with no individual score below 59.
• Some programs may have specific subject prerequisites or additional requirements.

Students must provide:

• academic marksheets & transcripts
• letters of recommendation
• a personal statement - SOP
• passport
• other supporting documents as required by the university.

Detective/Investigator: Graduates with a keen interest in criminal investigation may pursue careers as detectives or investigators within law enforcement agencies. They conduct thorough investigations into criminal offenses, gather evidence, interview witnesses and suspects, and analyze information to solve crimes and apprehend perpetrators. Detectives may specialize in specific types of crimes, such as homicide, fraud, organized crime, or sexual offenses, and work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies and criminal justice professionals.

Intelligence Analyst: Graduates can work as intelligence analysts within law enforcement agencies, security firms, or government organizations. They collect, analyze, and interpret data and information to identify trends, patterns, and threats related to criminal activities, terrorism, or security risks. Intelligence analysts produce intelligence reports, assessments, and briefings to support operational decision-making, strategic planning, and crime prevention efforts.

Crime Scene Investigator: Graduates may pursue careers as crime scene investigators (CSIs) or forensic technicians, collecting and processing physical evidence from crime scenes to support criminal investigations. They document crime scenes, collect biological and trace evidence, and analyze forensic samples using scientific techniques and equipment. Crime scene investigators work closely with forensic experts, law enforcement officers, and legal professionals to ensure the integrity and admissibility of evidence in criminal proceedings.

Security Consultant: Graduates can work as security consultants or advisors within private security firms, consulting agencies, or corporate security departments. They assess security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats to organizations, develop security strategies and protocols, and implement measures to protect people, assets, and information. Security consultants may specialize in areas such as risk management, threat assessment, security technology, or crisis management, providing expert guidance to clients in various industries.

Probation Officer: Graduates may pursue careers as probation officers within probation services, working with individuals who have been convicted of criminal offenses to support their rehabilitation and reintegration into society. Probation officers assess offenders' needs, develop rehabilitation plans, monitor their progress, and provide support and supervision to help them address underlying issues and reduce the risk of reoffending. Probation officers collaborate with other criminal justice agencies, social services, and community organizations to promote offender rehabilitation and public safety.

Policy Analyst/Researcher: Graduates with an interest in criminal justice policy and research may pursue careers as policy analysts, researchers, or consultants within government agencies, research institutes, or advocacy organizations. They conduct research, analyze data, and evaluate policies and programs related to crime prevention, law enforcement, and criminal justice reform. Policy analysts and researchers contribute to the development of evidence-based policies, legislative reforms, and best practices in policing, investigation, and crime reduction.

Private Investigator: Graduates may work as private investigators or detectives in the private sector, providing investigative services to individuals, businesses, attorneys, or insurance companies. They conduct inquiries, gather information, and uncover facts related to legal, financial, or personal matters, such as background checks, surveillance, fraud investigations, or missing persons cases. Private investigators may specialize in areas such as corporate investigations, matrimonial investigations, or litigation support, assisting clients in resolving disputes and legal proceedings.
