Program Overview

The BEng Civil Engineering (Extended) program at the University of Greenwich is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of civil engineering principles and their applications in the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure projects. Undergraduate Entry Requirements

Academic Qualifications: Applicants should have successfully completed their secondary education with a minimum overall score of 70% or equivalent in their respective country's grading system.

English language proficiency:

  • IELTS: A minimum overall score of  6.0 or 6.5 with no individual component below 5.5.
  • TOEFL: A minimum overall score of 87, with at least 17 in Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing.
  • PTE Academic: A minimum overall score of 76 with no individual score below 59.
  • Some programs may have specific subject prerequisites or additional requirements.

Students must provide:

  • passport
  • other supporting documents as required by the university.

Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship: This scholarship is available to high-achieving undergraduate and postgraduate students who demonstrate academic excellence. It provides a tuition fee discount of up to £5,000.

International Scholarship: The International Scholarship is aimed at international students applying for undergraduate or postgraduate programs at the University of Greenwich. It offers a tuition fee discount of up to £3,000.

Project Engineer: Project engineers play a key role in the execution of engineering projects, coordinating activities with multidisciplinary teams, managing project schedules and budgets, and ensuring that project objectives are met.

Urban Planner: Urban planners are involved in the development and implementation of land use plans, zoning regulations, and urban design guidelines to promote sustainable and equitable development in urban areas.
