Undergraduate Entry Requirements

Academic Qualifications: International students applying for undergraduate programs at DMU are typically required to have a minimum of 65% or above in their high school or secondary school qualifications.

English language proficiency:

• IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.0 with no individual component below 5.5.
• PTE Academic: A minimum overall score of 59 with no individual score below 59.

Students must provide:

• academic marksheets & transcripts
• letters of recommendation
• a personal statement - SOP
• passport
• other supporting documents as required by the university.

1. Vice-Chancellor's Sports Scholarship:The Vice-Chancellor's Sports Scholarship is awarded to talented athletes who have represented their country at a national level or have achieved exceptional performance in their sport.This scholarship provides a cash award of up to £6,000 per academic year, along with other benefits such as access to sports facilities, sports science support, and mentoring from elite athletes.Eligible students need to apply for this scholarship and go through a selection process that includes an application and an interview.
2. International Alumni Scholarship:The International Alumni Scholarship is available to international students who have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at DMU and wish to pursue a further postgraduate study.This scholarship offers a tuition fee reduction of up to 20% for the duration of the postgraduate program.To be eligible, students need to have achieved a minimum of a second-class honors degree or equivalent in their previous study at DMU.
3. Academic Excellence Scholarship:The Academic Excellence Scholarship is awarded to high-achieving international students entering a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program at DMU.For undergraduate students, this scholarship provides a £3,000 fee reduction for each year of study, while postgraduate students receive a £3,000 discount on their tuition fees.Eligibility is based on academic merit, and students are automatically considered for this scholarship upon submitting their application.
4. DMU International Scholarship:The DMU International Scholarship is available to international students who demonstrate academic excellence and commitment to enhancing the international student community at DMU.This scholarship offers a £2,000 tuition fee reduction for the first year of study for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.Eligibility is based on academic achievement, personal statement, and a short essay on contributing to the international student community.

Regional Scholarships:DMU also offers a range of regional scholarships for students from specific countries or regions.These scholarships aim to promote cultural diversity and strengthen educational ties between DMU and international communities.The eligibility criteria, benefits, and application process for regional scholarships may vary, and students should refer to the official DMU website for specific information.
