Program Overview

The MSc Engineering Management program at the University of Bradford is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to effectively manage engineering projects and operations.   5. Financial Management: The program covers financial management principles specific to engineering projects and organizations. Students will learn how to manage budgets, assess project feasibility, and make financially sound decisions. They will also gain an understanding of cost estimation and control.

  6. Leadership and Communication: Effective leadership and communication skills are vital in engineering management. Students will develop their interpersonal and communication abilities, understanding how to lead diverse engineering teams, facilitate collaboration, and communicate with stakeholders.

Postgraduate Entry Requirements:

  • Applicants should have successfully completed a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum overall score of 50 to 60% or equivalent.
  • English language proficiency is required, and applicants must provide evidence of their English language skills through an approved language test.
    • IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.5 with no individual component below 6.
    • TOEFL: A minimum overall score of 80, with at least 17 in Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing.
    • PTE Academic: A minimum overall score of 62 with no individual score below 51.

Students must provide:

  • letters of recommendation
  • a personal statement - SOP
  • passport
  • other supporting documents as required by the university.

Work experience: Some postgraduate courses may require relevant work experience in the field.
