Program Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Environmental Visual Communication program at Fleming College is a one-year program designed to combine visual storytelling techniques with environmental knowledge. The program aims to prepare students for careers in communicating complex environmental issues to various audiences using creative and impactful visual media.

Curriculum:

  5. Digital Media Production: Students gain practical skills in digital media production, including video editing, animation, and audio production. They learn how to use technology effectively to create compelling environmental visual content.

  6. Environmental Campaigns and Advocacy: This course explores the strategies and tactics employed in environmental campaigns and advocacy. Students learn how to develop and implement visual communication campaigns to promote environmental awareness and influence behavior change.

Postgraduate Diploma:

  1. Academic Requirements:
  • Completion of a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum overall average of 60% in the final two years of the degree.
  • English proficiency as demonstrated through IELTS or TOEFL scores. The minimum IELTS score required is 6.5 overall with no band less than 6.0, and the minimum TOEFL score required is 88 overall with a minimum score of 21 in each section.
  1. Additional Requirements:
  • Some programs may require applicants to have relevant work experience, submit a portfolio, letter of intent, resume, or other additional materials.

It is important to note that meeting the minimum entry requirements does not guarantee admission into a program at Fleming College, as admission is competitive and based on space availability.
