English Language Proficiency:  

  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System): A minimum score of 6.5 is required.

  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): MTSU considers a minimum score of 71 on the TOEFL.

  • DET (Duolingo English Test): A score of 95 on the DET is accepted.

Standardized Test Requirements: 

  • GRE (Graduate Record Examination): Students are expected to achieve a GRE  of 291.
