Postgraduate Entry Requirements:

Academic Qualifications: Applicants should hold a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. The minimum academic requirement is often a bachelor's degree with a final grade equivalent to a UK 2:2 or higher (50% or above).

English Language Proficiency: English language proficiency is required, and applicants must provide evidence of their English language skills through an approved language test.

  • IELTS: The minimum required overall score is usually between 6.5 and 7.0, with a minimum score of 5.5 in each component.
  • PTE Academic: The minimum required overall score is typically between 62 and 67.
  • TOEFL: The minimum required scores are usually between 90 and 95 for the internet-based test (iBT) and 577-600 for the paper-based test (PBT).

Students must provide:

  • a personal statement - SOP
  • passport
  • other supporting documents as required by the university.

Work experience: Some postgraduate courses may require relevant work experience in the field.

It offers a tuition fee discount of up to £2,000 per year for the duration of the program.   2. India Academic Scholarship: This scholarship is specifically available to Indian students applying for full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programs at Ulster University. It provides a tuition fee discount of £2,000 for the first year of study. Applicants must meet the academic requirements and be Indian passport holders to be eligible for this scholarship.
  3. GREAT Scholarships: Ulster University participates in the GREAT Scholarships program, which is a joint initiative of the British Council and the UK government's GREAT Britain Campaign. These scholarships are available to students from China, India, Malaysia, Thailand, and the United States.
